Crypto Fund Manager Bitwise Introduces Active Trading Strategies in Institutional Push
San Francisco-based fund manager Bitwise has introduced active trading strategies, designed to capitalize on market inefficiencies across the crypto market to cater to institutional clients, according to press release.
The firm has hired Jeffrey Park, formerly of Corbin Capital and Morgan Stanley (MS), to head up the new active strategy trading team.
Active trading strategies will deliver returns for clients by utilizing low-risk techniques to generate a yield, this includes arbitrage trade across multiple venues and delta neutral quantitive strategies.
Bitwise currently has a suite of more than 15 crypto solutions including a sizeable crypto index fund along with strategies covering decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Web3 and crypto equities.
“For the last half-decade, our sole focus at Bitwise has been pioneering ways for investors to access the opportunities emerging in crypto,” said Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley. “The addition of active strategies to our services is a huge step forward in our ability to do that."
